While filming the latest season of Netflix’s Bling Empire, Kelly Mi Li and her mom, Emily, bonded over cooking traditional Chinese dishes. It was revealed that Kelly’s favorite childhood dish was a Yunnan specialty called 小锅米線 (Little Pot Rice Noodle) that her mom would cook from scratch.

Kelly grew up loving all spicy foods, but she still finds herself craving her mom’s 小锅米線 (Little Pot Rice Noodle) and could never find anything that tasted like how her mom made it. Kelly realized that there was a gap in the market when it came to Yunnan cuisine. This led Kelly to ask Emily about the secret behind Emily’s cooking. Emily revealed that she used a secret family hot sauce recipe that was passed down for generations to make many of their beloved dishes, including Kelly’s childhood favorite.
